Billy L. Rowe has joined the Perry County Health Department Environmental Division as Chief Plumbing Inspector. He holds an unlimited certificate and is qualified to do plumbing inspections of all public building and private residences in Perry County. Billy has been a certified plumbing inspector for 23 years. (Someone once said that "Bill Rowe was a plumbing inspector before they had plumbing!")

Billy can be contacted between 7:00AM and 3:00PM Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 740-342-5179. He trys to be available in his office between 7:00 and 10:00 in the mornings so that whose who need to contact him may do so.

Bill wants to remind those planning on building or remodeling that a plumbing permit must be obtained before the project is begun. He also points out that two sets of blue prints are required. All folks who are plumbing other than those who are plumbing in their own homes must register with the department.
