Cindy Dew

The Perry County Health Department is fortunate to have Cindy Dew as our public health staff nurse. She has been with us for approximately 3 years, coming to us with 31 years experience as a registered nurse. Se comes to us with a wide range of experience including working with children at Childrens Hospital, working with older folks at a nursing home rehabilation center, and serving as a staff hospital nurse. At the Health Department, Cindy administers vaccines and TB test to children and adults. She makes home visits for children with handicaps in the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps program and helps manage and educate folks in the lead poisoning and head lice programs. Cindy also provides confidential HIV testing and counseling.
