The Food Service License Fees are slated to be revised on January 1, 2010. The proposed fees are listed in the attached link. A public hearing will be held on November 19, 2010 at 1:00PM at the Perry County Health Department.

FOOD SERVICE AND VENDING MACHINE OPERATIONS - The Health Department oversees the Food Service Operations and Retail Food Service Operations to ensure safety of the food supplies of Perry County citizens. If you are planning to hold a temporary event in which food will be served, you will need to apply for a temporary food permit. Also, the following link provides a quick example of items and practices that must be followed when providing food to the public.

SERVESAFE FOOD SAFETY PROGRAM : This program is presented to all those working in the foodservice industry. It is designed as a tool to lead the way in setting high food safety standards. Information in the course will help the student apply critical food safety practices to every meal that he or she serves.
