Health Education

The division of Health Education works within Perry County to provide health education, health promotion and prevention services.  We partner with the local schools, the community and local businesses to provide programs that improve the health of Perry County residents.  The majority of our programs are funded by grants and create opportunities that make Perry County a healthier place to live. 

 

Perry Wellness Coalition

The Perry Wellness Coalition is open to anyone in Perry County with a professional or personal interest in promoting healthy lifestyles through prevention, education and community awareness projects.  Throughout the coalition’s history, members have worked together to promote smoke-free environments, support youth prevention activities, participate in community outreach opportunities and educate community leaders on healthy lifestyle initiatives.

We’d love to have you join us for a meeting! Perry Wellness Coalition meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 12pm at the First United Methodist Church, 126 S. High Street, New Lexington.
