Next Class August 18th and 19th

This program is presented to all those working in the foodservice industry. It is designed as a tool to lead the way in setting high food safety standards. Information in the course will help the student apply critical food safety practices to every meal that he or she serves.

The food safe course is a two day, 16 hours course that earns the participant a nationally recognized certificate. The course can be used in for the following ends:

 

Learn Food Safety Principles. The text, Servesafe Essentials provides critical food safety knowledge that will help the student implement and maintain safe foodhandling practices in your establishment.

Teach Your Team Members. The new "Take it Back" reference guides at the end of each section will help the student take essential food safety knowledge back to your employees. You may visit www.uraef.org/foodsafetycenter for more information.

Sharpen Your Training Skills. the information presented in the "Employee Food Safety Training Section" will help the student enhance his/her skills as a trainer. The training concepts in this section demonstrate different ways to convey essential food safety information to your employees.

Highlight Differences for your Jurisdiction. The new "How This Relates to Me" areas located throughout the text will help the student note differences between the information presented in Servesafe Essentials and your jurisdictional requirements.

Evaluate Your Current Food Safety Practices. The "Food Safety Evaluation Checklist," located in the Appendix, will help the student identify gaps between your current practices and those practices critical to keeping food safe in your operation.
